Long Island houses, stairs and basements included
A house out on the Island has a staircase, a hallway upstairs and a basement below, and all three carry carpet. We price each one on its own, take your rugs away for a free wash and delivery, and dry the carpet in 4 to 6 hours.
Stairs and hallways first
In a house the stairs are the heaviest wear on the carpet, and the hallway at the top takes the traffic from every bedroom. We clean steps, landings and hallways as separate lines, so you can see where each dollar goes.
Rooms are priced by size: up to 250 sq. ft. is one flat rate, and anything larger is charged by the square foot. Book several rooms in one visit and the price drops.
Basements and water damage
A finished basement is carpet on top of concrete, and concrete holds water. We charge basement carpet by the square foot, and when a pipe lets go we answer water emergencies 24/7. If damp has already turned into a smell on the wall, the mold remediation page explains how it is contained and dried.
Upstairs, the usual extras are sofas and armchairs and rugs that leave for a wash, picked up and delivered free.
