Stairs add up fast in a house
Do the sum yourself. A flight of 12 steps at $9 a step comes to $108, before any landing at $45 or the hallway at the top at $75. Stairs are priced by the step, not guessed by the square foot, so you can add up your own staircase before you call.
The tread centres go grey first because everyone walks the same line. That is the part of the runner that most needs the hot-water pass, and it dries within 4 to 6 hours like the rest of the carpet.

Water emergencies: 24/7
When the basement floods
A basement is where a burst pipe or a backed-up drain ends up. Water wicks into the pad and up the wall within hours, so call before you do anything else and leave the wet carpet where it is. We handle flood and burst-pipe water damage, and mold remediation when damp has already settled in.
On dry days, the jobs that suit a house are the carpet itself, the hardwood floors and the rugs that go out for a wash, which we collect and return at no charge.
