A doorman building often routes visitors through a freight elevator or a service entrance. Tell us which you have when you call, and ask your super what the building expects from a cleaner, so the visit is planned before we arrive and not on the sidewalk.
Either way the carpet usually dries within 4 to 6 hours, so open a window or run the air and the room is back in use the same day.
